Welcome to JanC Beads - Experienced glass beadmaker of 14 years

Each bead is handmade using a process called lampworking.

Effetre (murano) glass rods are heated in a LPG/Oxygen flame to a molten state and wound onto a steel rod, using heat and gravity a bead is formed.

It is a labor-intensive method demanding concentration and skill. All beads are kiln annealed to give strength to the glass.

All items have a code number in the left hand corner,sizes and prices are also listed with each item.
